Biography

David Muir - Lighting Designer

David is a freelance lighting designer who trained in technical theatre at Mountview theatre school. He has worked extensively in theatre most recently as head of lighting and sound for the Belgrade Theatre Coventry. Previously he worked as operations director, technical director and chief electrician at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

He has extensive experience in the entertainment industry from lighting design to production electrician in a cave! He is active in a variety of areas including events (both design and setup), lighting desk programming, CAD services, installation, and commissioning. He is currently freelance technical director and consultant for the TPO Group.
