Biography

Marty’s work spans Theatre, Live art & Dance. As Lighting Designer he has worked in venues such as Southbank Centre, Saddlers Wells, Barbican Theatre, Soho Theatre, Roundhouse, Old Vic Tunnels and Wilton Music Hall, as well as in site specific and gallery contexts. In recent years he has collaborated with Anoushka Shankar, Dickie Beau, Force Majeure, Penny Arcade, Scottee, Bryony Kimmings, Sheila Ghelani, Chloe Dechery, Curious, Andrew Poppy, Julia Bardsley, Karen Christopher, Natasha Davis, Bob Karper and Marisa Carnesky. As part of the Duckie collective he has designed many of their theatrical club events. His solo fine art practise investigates light, colour and memory within the gallery space.
