Biography

Michael’s recent lighting designs include The 14th Tale & Black T-Shirt Collection (Cottesloe Theatre & touring); Boys (Headlong, HighTide & Nuffield Southampton); Untitled (Bristol Old Vic, Soho Theatre & touring); Shalom Baby (Theatre Royal Stratford East); The World’s Wife (Trafalgar Studios & touring); Ghosts in the Gallery (Polka Theatre); Coming Home, The Ballad of Crazy Paola, The Lady from the Sea, An Enemy of the People & The Blind (Arcola Theatre); Our Share of Tomorrow, Lough/Rain, Limbo & 1984 (York Theatre Royal); Slaves, Beasts & Cocoa (Theatre 503).

Michael is a graduate of the RADA Lighting Design course. He previously graduated from Cambridge University and spent three years managing the ADC Theatre in Cambridge. Michael is also the Managing Director and co-Founder of Spektrix, a provider of cloud-based ticketing systems to around 120 arts organisations in the UK.
