Trent Kim

Trent Kim is a programme leader for BA (Hons) New Media Art at University of the West of Scotland. He started his career in theatre lighting design and then expanded it onto video art, abstract film, projection art and Lumia. His works have been shown in South Korea, the US and UK and he has given lectures in various HE institutions including University of Glasgow, Glasgow School of Art, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, University of Greenwich, Kyungsung University (South Korea) and Yale University (US). He is also a part time research student in animation at the Royal College of Art and he organises LUMIA | Symposium annually since 2017. He continues producing professional works within and outwith theatre and he is specialised and passionate for devised, audio-visual, site-specific and community engaged works.
