High End Systems and UK-based digital solutions specialists Projected Image Digital (PID) are holding free product technical training sessions March 31-April 4 in London. The 5-day session, consisting of 3 modules, will provide a hands-on, intense learning environment on some of today’s leading consoles, lighting fixtures and digital lighting products. HES specialists from both the US and European teams will provide the training.
The sessions will be held at PID’s headquarters, The Light Box, 111 Power Road, Chiswick, London W4 5PY, with classes running each day 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Participants can register for individual modules or for all three. Refreshments and a light lunch are provided along with writing materials and course handouts.
The modules are as follows:
Module 1:
Dates: Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1.
Console training to cover console layout, patching, editing fixtures, programmer, timing, palettes, cuelists, options and directory, page directory, scenes, saving shows and much more.
Module 2:
Dates: Wednesday, April 2.
Digital training will cover set-up, trouble-shooting and maintenance.
Module 3:
Date: Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4.
Fixture training - maintenance and general repair of all current HES fixtures.
Attendees may sign-up to any complete module but there is a maximum of eight attendees per module, so early booking is encouraged. The course is free but there is a £100 charge for no-shows.
