ETC lights street art

Edgy and urban it may be, but street art still needs a bit of help with the lighting. We don’t know where they came from (and we aren’t going to ask), but three ETC Source Four luminaires were spotted this weekend at London’s Cans Festival, a free street party dedicated to the art of graffiti. Although described as a ‘stencil only’ exhibition, the festival included several installation pieces, including this take on the effectiveness (or otherwise) of CCTV, the only art work to be specifically lit.

For those who missed the hype in the national press, a group of international street artists, led by the UK’s Banksy, transformed a dank, disused rail tunnel at Waterloo station into a vibrant and exciting art gallery for the three day weekend. While the installation pieces have probably already been dismantled, it is hoped that the wall art may be there for a while yet.
