Artistic Licence Engineering has been deemed ‘the true polyglot of the industry’ for the in-depth knowledge of control protocol across all architectural, commercial and entertainment lighting sectors. Ever keen to share this knowledge, Artistic Licence Integration’s Managing Director, Wayne Howell, has instigated a programme of Training Days designed to broaden the knowledge of control protocols, consider how to choose the right tools for the job and achieve optimum results from the products available. Two free Training Days have been scheduled for February with more to follow throughout the year:
DALI Training Day: Wednesday 9 February 2011, 10am - 4pm.
With the increasing need for integration of the DMX and DALI protocols in architectural lighting control, a deeper understanding of these protocols, and others on the market, is ever more necessary.
In the first of Artistic Licence Engineering’s Training Days, the DALI and DMX protocols will be fully explained. Artistic Licence Engineering's comprehensive range of DALI converters including Rail-DMX-DALI, Rail-DALI-DMX, Rail-PSU-D4 and DALI-Scope will be explored along with the new Rail-DMX-DSI converter.
Art-Net Training Session: Wednesday 23 February 2011, 9.30am - 1.30pm.
Artistic Licence Engineering will be offering a free half-day training session encompassing Art-Net and its uses, along with details on the full range of Artistic Licence Engineering Art-Net products, including the new Two-Play XT.
The Art-Net Ethernet control protocol was originally invented by Artistic Licence and published, royalty-free, to the public domain over 10 years ago. Since then over 130 manufacturers have subscribed to its use and incorporated it into their product ranges. Its popularity continues to grow and the training day will provide the ideal opportunity for technicians and end users to become familiar with all its functionality.
All Artistic Licence Engineering Training Days will take place at their premises in Harrow, North London. The courses will be free of charge and operate on a first come, first served basis. Places are therefore limited so reserve your place by contacting Sales@ArtisticLicence.com
