Artistic Licence Engineering Plays in the New Year with Two-Play XT

Due to the intense popularity of Two-Play, the two-universe Art-Net Recorder and Playback Controller, Artistic Licence Engineering has released Two-Play XT, a sophisticated new development which supports both DMX and Art-Net and is designed to complement the original. Further advancements mean that both Two-Play (Art-Net) and Two-Play XT (Art-Net and DMX) now include KiNet and E1.31 transmission; improved trigger options include ‘wild card’ time, day trigger and specific date triggers.

Two-Play and Two-Play XT's more sophisticated DMX triggers monitor DMX channels and can play back single or multiple shows. Playback can also be initiated via Art-Net macros so multiple Two-Play units can be used ‘in sync’ while being controlled from a central source.

Many hours of show playback can be recorded onto the internal memory card from a DMX512 input (XT only) or Art-Net source. Up to six shows can be played back simultaneously and transmitted to Ethernet, Art-Net or DMX universes.

Programming can be via any DMX (XT only) or Art-Net controller. In addition, Artistic Licence Engineering has opened up its Colour-Tramp control software to allow recording to Two-Play and Two-Play without the need for a licenced copy of the software.

Remote configuration and programming is possible via a built-in web browser.
