White Light supplied the lighting to the floating Christmas parties run by Woods Silver Fleet over the holiday season.The company supplied and installed a lighting rig on the Silver Sturgeon, the flagship vessel of the fleet after a multi-million pound refurbishment and re-launch in March 2007. The lighting rig was designed to light the party’s dance floor area, bringing it to life with movement and ultra-violet light.

“Woods Silver Fleet wanted a dance rig with UV for their Christmas parties, which could be easily operated by their on-board technicians,” explains White Light’s Account Manager Phil Gladman. “To achieve this we installed a goal-post truss featuring six GLP Impression LED washlights, along with eight Encapsulite Sticklights coloured to imitate UV. We also provided a versatile, easy-to-use lighting console to run the rig. The rig was compact yet incredibly versatile, and served the parties very well.”
