Destined for Franco Dragone’s spectacular water show, The House of Dancing Water, in Macau’s City of Dreams, Artistic Licence Engineering created Candle-Power 24. CP24 is a rack-mounted LED dimmer, based on the successful and established CP12 technology, yet aimed at larger installations.CP24 retains all the benefits of the CP12 technology which is generally acknowledged to be the best in the industry for reliability and configuration options. Moreover, Candle-Power’s technology has superior dimming curves, especially at that vital low end register, making fades smooth with no ‘bumps’ or sudden unsightly blackouts.
In addition, CP24 offers 24 channels of dimming in multiples of three. It has a built-in mains input and a choice of 1 or 2 in-built PSUs, so rendering it a self-contained unit.
Each of the 24 outputs can drive a number of high power LEDs in series from one to twelve. This provides a total load capability of 288 LEDs (subject to number of internal PSUs).
CP24 is available in 3 standard versions, but since it also offers a large number of variables, including current ratings, PSU types and quantities (depending on how many LEDs it is to control) it can be custom-built to requirements.
