Andrew De Rosa to leave ABTT

Andrew De Rosa has been the first CEO of the ABTT and will shortly be leaving the Association to pursue his own interests in new and exciting ways. The time however is right for others to lead the Association as it moves into new and uncharted waters. The Association has grown under his tenure and his efforts to market and promote the ABTT in new ways has been well received and puts us in a stronger position.

The Association is in a better place to reposition itself as there is a momentum to drive a new and eager potential membership who will support the ABTT and its values.

Andrew was keen to give greater member benefits and reasons for joining. He gave us a new look and this came as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. The Association now through Andrew’s efforts is able to offer insurance schemes that better protect members of the Association when they are working as freelance contractors and at an affordable price.

The issue of “Tallescope” has finally come to a close after being contentious within the theatre industry for far too many years. We will be grateful to Andrew for brokering some of the key meetings in ensuring this matter comes to a logical and rightful conclusion.

The trustee directors and members of the Association wish Andrew well in his future career.
