Goboland exhibited at PLASA 2011 with a host of new gobo designs added to its Black Steel Collection™, all of which can be downloaded directly from the website at www.goboland.com. The website also carries information on additional Goboland products, such as Tweakers and GoboSlides, and services, including keystone correction and studio time.The website, which underwent a complete transformation for ABTT, has been subject to further refinements which include a streamlined online ordering system for all Black Steel Collection™ gobos.
A year on from the launch of Goboland’s revolutionary GoboSlides, the response amongst customers and manufacturers has been tremendous. In answer to this Goboland has added exciting new designs to its library of images. These new images have been designed for use in the ever-increasing number of LED projectors on the market and will be projected on the Goboland stand in Hall 1 F25.
An increased number of manufacturers have also come to Goboland for GoboSlides of their company and product logos to project on their PLASA stands.
Goboland has teamed up with The Projection Studio to create GoboSlides from the extensive stock slide imagery amassed by The Projection Studio’s Ross Ashton over the years. Together, the two companies have formed a new service – that of a custom slide service for LED profile spot lights – which will be followed by a slide catalogue to be launched in the near future.
“The excitement generated by our GoboSlides has increased over the past year,” says Goboland UK Director, Vicky Fairall. “This seems to be as a combined result of spreading awareness of the availability and quality of the product, and an increase in the use of LED profile lanterns. GoboSlides really seem to have captured the industry’s imagination and the future for them is looking very bright!”
