English Electro Punk band The Prodigy used 40 Claypaky Ultimo Sharpy fixtures for the UK leg of their continuing sold-out global tour. 4Wall invested in the fixtures specifically for the tour, sourcing them from Entedi, Claypaky's distributor for the UK and Ireland. These luminaires were identified as perfect choice for the band's shows. Lighting Designer Paul Holden of Emerald Creative specified the Ultimos due to their high-power output and compact size, key to creating the band's intense lighting design.
The Claypaky Ultimo Sharpy's beam power and extreme brightness made them ideal for cutting through the high-energy environment of the arena shows. Their beam quality, speed and tight focus delivered the perfect effects for The Prodigy's dynamic live performances.
The Ultimo Sharpys provided a key creative element in the overall lighting design, which included other Claypaky fixtures, Robe BMFL Blades and other moving lights.
