The National Theatre Bucharest has installed 32 Claypaky Arolla Profile MP fixtures from the city's Marbo Trade, Claypaky's exclusive distributor in Romania. The investment upgrades two venues inside the theater replacing ageing conventional fixtures with state-of-the-art LED lighting technology. "The fixtures were chosen primarily for their high lighting output and lightweight design, which played a key role in the decision-making process," explained Marian Ionescu, Production Manager at the National Theatre Bucharest.
The Arolla Profile MPs have been installed in the historic Sala Mare ("Great Hall") and the Sala Atrium ("Atrium Hall"), the two main performance spaces of the National Theatre Bucharest. "The Arolla Profile MPs have enhanced the visual experience for the audience and allowed us to create new and innovative lighting designs for our productions," added Ionescu. "The fixtures' advanced features, including a wide zoom range, variable color temperature and high CRI, enable us to precisely control the lighting and ensure a top-quality result."
The Claypaky Arolla Profile MP is a compact, lightweight LED profile spot with a high-quality optical system and an 8,000-lumen output. Its innovative features include a wide zoom range, variable color temperature and a high CRI, allowing lighting designers to create dynamic looks and evocative atmospheres.
