Richard designed three installations for Vivid Sydney 2012, and all three were named by the Sydney Morning Herald in the 'top 5 of 60' installations at the light festival. Colour Cubed is a giant, rotating cube that projects colour outwards, Tic Tac Toe was a larger than life play on the traditional game where festival-goers could see their moves on a touch screen reflected on a ten metre high game board, and Follow The Currents saw three humble bicycle taxis transformed into pedalling fish that glowed as they 'swam' around Circular Quay. All three installations have since toured to other cities around the world.
